Ride Info

If you want to do a little riding but don’t have the time to hit the mountains, you can stop by Gaoping Riverside Park for a little dirt trail riding. It’s mostly graded dirt roads used by farmers and gravel trucks. There are a few double track trails and sand-like areas here and there. You could spend a few hours out there easily.

Bathrooms and small tourist area here: 22.660471, 120.441426 You can walk on the old train track bridge going over the river to a point. It was destroyed long ago by a typhoon. It offers a nice view of the area. There’s also an old passenger train you can go inside.

Ride Start:

22.652197, 120.442118

Date:

2015 Apr 26

Who says trees don't have personalities? This one is doing its best impression of a banyan tree. 😀 #Taiwan #hiking #OutHiking https://t.co/NrPVEx95G5
