My name is Glenn and my wife and I operate a voice recording studio in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. We’re both voice actors; so getting into this business came naturally to us. I decided I wanted to get out of the studio in my free time, as I’ve always loved the outdoors. That, and sitting behind a computer screen all day editing doesn’t encourage weight loss! So field recording just seemed a natural fit. I can record AND get outside. Can’t complain about that!

I’m hoping to present my recordings with some context. I often hear recordings and wonder how they were achieved or what lengths the author needed to go through in order to capture them. Typically, there is just a few pictures of the area and the recording itself. So I’m hoping to go pic by pic and walk you through my journey to capture the sounds – a sort of “tour guide” if you will.

I hope this approach proves interesting to you! And I’m happy to hear any feedback on my recordings, good or bad.

And if you would like to listen to my wife’s lovely voice–or better yet, book her for your next project–have a look at her website: Chinesevocal.com

Thanks!
